Ok, so now that the Worldwide ERC Conference and the CRP Exam are behind me, I thought I would take a moment to reflect on the events of the past week. This is truly the Reader’s Digest version.
Let’s start with the CRP Exam Prep Class…
It’s was so nice to meet and bond with so many wonderful relocation professionals as we all prepared to take the Exam. I’d like to give a special shout out to Roxan, Diane, Tony and Burke. It was a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed meeting you guys and hope that we will be able to send each other business soon. As for the rest of my classmates, I certainly hope we all passed the Exam!
The CRP Exam…
This was without a doubt the toughest exam that I have ever taken. I poured my soul into it, and just hope that I passed. I will be finding out in 4-6 weeks. Until then, I will be holding my breath and crossing my fingers and toes. Please, please send positive energy my way as I await the results.
The Worldwide ERC Conference…
As always, some really great educational opportunities combined with fun networking opportunities. I really enjoyed the Conference, but couldn’t help but notice that it seemed lightly attended for an ERC Conference.
My favorite session was the one on Web 2.0. It is still amazing to me how few people are actually on LinkedIn, Facebook, blogging, tweeting, etc. I would expect those numbers to increase dramatically in the next few months.
For those of you who were not able to attend this time, I will hope to see you in Chicago in October. I hope to be proudly touting my CRP Designation when I see you!

Michelle, I too am surprised that more people aren’t “connected.” As I try to promote at http://www.chicagorelocationblog.com there has been a paradigm shift in the way we need to communicate with Gen X and Gen Y – Who will be buying real estate for the next 50 years! I will see you and your CRP in Chicago soon.
