John Daugherty, Realtors recently participated in Pink & Blue Jean Day and the Cocktails for the Cure fundraising events as part of its annual support of the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation. For a mere $5.00 donation, participants wore their favorite pink shirt and blue jeans to work to show their support of the NOMF and the fight against breast cancer. This city-wide event raises money annually for breast cancer research.
As a way to continue the fun and fun-draising, many participants went to Goode’s Armadillo Palace after work for Cocktails for the Cure.

Our company has consistently been a large supporter and contributor to the NOMF since its First Annual Luncheon in 2002. Each year our company buys a table at the Luncheon, in addition to a large number of our agents who also jointly purchase tables. Last year our company purchased a total of 8 tables!
Nancy Owens was a legend within the Houston real estate community, as well as a legend within our family at John Daugherty, Realtors, where she was a Broker Associate for many years.
I am very proud to have been involved in the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation since its inception in 2001, as a founding Committee Member. The NOMF was founded in the name and honor of Nancy Owens who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer in 2001.
